Today i will talk about the theme. A theme is the most important part in a story. In this story i think that the theme is when Conrad admits to Belly that he loves her and they kiss each other. Then they are boyfriends and start dating. 

Today I will talk about the plot. The conflict in this story is that first when Conrad gets jealous about Belly and he doesnt let her do anything. Another conflict is when they figure out that Sussanah is sick and they get very worried. This were the most important conflicts in the story. 

Today i will talk about the characters emotions in all the story.
First i will start with Belly who didnt change a lot during the story she only changed when she was with Conrad, she tried to be a grown up teen but with the other characters she stayed the same. 
Conrad stayed all the story so mean, he tried to be a grown up teen so he didnt let Belly do nothing and he was always so mean and booring.
Jeremiah didnt change in all the story he stayed just Jeremiah, he was very happy, he liked to party, and everyone loved him.
Sussanah and Bellys mom stayed the same all the story, being just moms, and acting like teen best friends.

Today i will talk about how the book title relates to the book. The name The summer i turned pretty its about a girl who in this summer she bacame pretty, noticeable, people were staring at her and thats what the book talks about. She was getting attention from everyone and they were now inviting her to do things, they were talking about her. So thats why The summer i turned pretty means about all of that. 

I think this book has been one of my favorites. I loved this book and I would die if a movie comes out. It would be a very good movie because all the things you imagine about the way they are would show there and you will imagine things the way they are. You would see how the characters will really be and when you see the scenes you will imagine the way you thought it will be and see if you had an idea or not.

The narrator is named Jenny Han. She was born and raised in Richmond, Virginia. She went to college at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill  and she went on to graduate school at the New School in New York City. She writed The Summer I Turned Pretty on 2010 and her book was read all over the world. She is very famous and know has 3 of the books about  The summer i turned pretty novel.

On this new blog I will talk about some of the most important characters of the story.

On the book there are many kinds of characters which are: Belly, Jeremiah, Conrad, Steven, Lauren, and Susannah. 

-Belly: has light brown straight hair, freckles, kind of tall, tan, skinny. She likes to have fun and be included with the boys plans. Loves Susannah sometimes more than her mom. Likes Conrad and Jeremiah is her best friend. His parents are divorced and she is very sad.

-Jeremiah: Tall, brown hair, skinny. Likes Belly, likes to be friendly, loves his parents, is bored of Conrad, loves to go to Cousins beach every summer.

-Conrad: tall, handsome, blonde, light skin, skinny. Loves football, is getting into college, is always preoccupied about something, is very jealous, loves his mom, hates his dad.

-Steven: Belly's big brother, tall , blonde, skinny, light skin. Loves his family, hates when Belly is included in his plans with the boys.

-Lauren: divorced, pretty, light skin, skinny, best friend of Susannah, mother of Belly and Steven. Loves Susannah and her family, she doesn't talk to her husband, likes to see movie and talk about many things with her bff, loves to pass every summer with her bff, sons, and Susannah's sons.

-Susannah: getting divorced, sick, curly hair, tall, beautiful. Loves Belly and treats her like her daughter, wants Belly to be part of her family, is depressed, wants everything to be perfect. 

I read this book because i love summer novels. Whats good about this book is that it haves three novels and its so good that you read the three of them. When i started reading it I couldnt stop reading, that I finished it in one day. I cant wait to read the second book because is so good you cant stop.
